Individual Magic Apple Cobbler
The batter goes in the bottom and magically rises to the top during the baking process. You will love this apple cobbler because the batter is placed in the bottom of the ramekin and topped with apples, cinnamon and sugar before baking resulting in a moist and flavorful cake!

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Divide butter between four 8 oz. ramekins. You can also make this cobbler in one 8 x 8 inch baking dish. Melt the butter in each ramekin. In a medium bowl add flour, sugar and baking powder. Mix to combine. Add milk and mix well. Pour batter over melted butter, but do not stir. You will need about 1/3 cup of batter per ramekin. Top batter with apples, dividing evenly between ramekins. In a small bowl, combine 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Sprinkle cinnamon mixture over apples.
  3. Place ramekins on a cookie sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes. If you would like, serve with milk, cream or ice cream.
